Deskripsi Mata Kuliah

Mata kuliah Design Thinking Innovation mempelajari cara menyelesaikan masalah kompleks melalui pendekatan design thinking, yang berfokus pada solusi kreatif dan inovatif berbasis kebutuhan manusia. Mahasiswa akan mempelajari tahapan understand untuk memahami masalah, observe untuk menggali dan memvalidasi masalah, Define Point of View untuk merumuskan inti persoalan, serta Ideate untuk menciptakan solusi. Selanjutnya, mahasiswa membuat prototype, mengujinya di tahap test, dan melakukan perbaikan melalui reflect. Di akhir, mahasiswa akan menyusun model bisnis dan mempresentasikan ide kepada stakeholder. Outputnya adalah prototype produk digital yang menjadi solusi inovatif bagi pengguna.

Course Description

The Design Thinking Innovation course learns how to solve complex problems through a design thinking approach, which focuses on creative and innovative solutions based on human needs. Students will learn the stages of understanding to understand the problem, observe to explore and validate the problem, Define Point of View to formulate the core of the problem, and Ideate to create a solution. Next, students make a prototype, test it at the test stage, and make improvements through reflect. At the end, students will develop a business model and present ideas to stakeholders. The output is a prototype of a digital product that becomes an innovative solution for users.
