A. How to Write Paragraphs
1 paragraph contains 5 sentences or more. Consist of 1 topic sentence, 3 supporting sentences, 1 Concluding sentence.
1. Topic sentence
The topic sentence is an introductory line that explains the main idea or thesis of the paragraph. the first sentence of the paragraph should be the topic to be discussed.
2. Supporting sentences
Supporting sentences are the main part of supporting paragraphs. The supporting sentence contains evidence to support the topic sentence.
3. Concluding sentences
the closing sentence of the paragraph should tie all the sentences together and re-emphasize the main points of the topic sentence. A good closing sentence reinforces the ideas laid out in the topic sentence.
B. What is narrative writing
narrative text tells a story that has a chronological sequence of events that are interconnected. The purpose of narrative text is to entertain the reader.
Narrative text structure
1. Character
is the opening paragraph of the text that introduces the characters involved, when it happened, and the background location of the incident.
2. Settings
Consists of a paragraph explaining the original problem. This initial problem is the beginning of a storyline that continues in conflict.
3. Conflict
contains the problem that is going on.
4. Climax
The peak of the problem occurred.
5. Resolution
Contains problem end and problem solving.
