1) You may use How, When, Why, Who, Whom, Whose, Which, What, Where, etc.
The rule to use the question words above:
Question words + auxiliary verb (to be) + subject + verb (verb +ing / basic verb depending the verb used by the writers)
2) Yes/No Questions
The rule to use above is:
Auxiliary verb (to be) + subject + verb (verb +ing / basic verb depending the verb used by the writers)
