Following up our 2nd week class, here is your assignment:
- Write a one-page reflection on the importance of English in teaching Informatics Engineering.
- Record a 2-minute video practice giving classroom instruction.
ESSAY
1. Essay is well typing, one page only, single space A4 paper, about 300-350 words.
2. Give a title to your essay.
3. Essay consists of: Introduction (1 paragraph), body paragraph (1 - 2 paragraph), conclusion (1 paragraph)
4. Use AI wisely and any other AI-driven technologies and translators.
5. Your essay should be, at maximum, 5% AI detected and 10% similarity/plagiarism.
6. Submit it in a Word file: name_essay1. Example = Budiwati_essay1.doc
7. The deadline is Monday, April 6th 2025, at 19.00 WIB, through this link only.
For Video:
1. Record yourself giving instructions for about 1.5 minutes.
2. Please use appropriate clothes and words.
3. Record in colouring video, mp4 or wav, save with name: yourname_video1

Ujian akhir dilakukan pada pertemuan ke 15 dan 16 dalam bentuk:1. Praktik mengajar 7-10 menit.
2. Membawa bahan ajar/alat peraga/spidol masing-masing.
3. Bahan ajar dapat berupa PPT, infor grafis, dan lainnya.
4. untuk penggunaan laptop, sebaiknya cukup 1 laptop saja sehingga tidak perlu bergantian menyiapkan laptop. Untuk menghemat waktu, dan lainnya.
5. bawa back up laptop. dan penyimpanan untuk cadangan.
6. hadirlah lebih awal, jam 12.50 untuk mencoba laptop dan lainnya. Jika diperlukan dapat hadir pukul 12.30, jika ruangan terkunci dapat ke PLPP dengan menunjukkan postingan ini untuk mendapatkan kunci G 1.6
7. Praktik mengajar tediri dari : maksimum 2 menit pembukaan, 5-7 menit mengajar/inti, maksimum 2 mnit penutupan.
8. Peniliaian meliputi: Vocabulary, grammar, prononciation, dan performance.
9. Siswa yang menunggu giliran maju.telah maju akan berperan sebagai murid. Harap tenang dan perhatikan temannya dengan baik. Hindari penggunaan handphone, mengobrol, dan membuat keributan. Bagi yang melanggar maka akan dimitna untuk meninggalkan kelas dan tidak dianggap mengikuti ujian.
10. Peserta boleh mengajukan pertanyaan kepada teman yang sedang praktik, merespon pertanyaan, dan mengerjakan petunjuk yang diminta oleh rekan yang sedang praktik. Berpartisipasilah dengan baik. Ingat ini ujian akhir semester, jadi hindari sikap yang tidak bertanggung jawab,
11. Materi yang disampaikan oleh siswa adalah yang terkait dengan PTI, bukan mata kuliah seperti berenang, memasak, bahasa, dan lainnya.
12. Semua materi harus disampaikan dalam bahasa Inggris.
13. Ingat anda praktik mengajar, bukan membaca power point, bukan membaca puisi, atau stand up comedy.
14. Ini adalah ujian kelulusan, bukan hukuman, Jadi belajarlah dengan ikhlas, riang, dan bertanggung jawab.
15. Jika ada yang ingin ditanyakan dapat email ke rahmalia@darmajaya.ac.id dengan subject : UAS praktik mengajar. Didalam email sebutkan nama dan npm kemudian permasalahan yang dihadapi apa. atau bisa juga komen di postingan ini.
16. Bagi yang jarang hadir, maka hadirlah karena ini UAS.
17. Yuk, ajak teman-temannya untuk masuk. Takut dengan bahasa Inggris bukan alasan untuk tidak hadir dikelas dan tidak mengikuti ujian.
19 Saya ada di lab Jarkom gedung G lantai 3 pada hari selasa pukul 13.00 - 16.00 jika ada yang ingin mencoba latihan mengajar.
20. Tolong untuk tidak hadir telat, karena tepat pukul 13.00 saya akan memanggil 5 peserta pertama ujian.
