Answer : or

2. I am thirsty _____ I donΓÇÖt want to eat

Answer : but

3. Can you take the pen on the table _____ bring it to me?

Answer : and

good, bener kok. sekarang terdapat 2 persamaan dalam FANBOYS ini yaitu But dan Yet? apa perbedaannya?

'but' is used to express an opinion that is usually contrary to the previous sentence. Whereas 'yet' is basically used to connect 2 different sentences.

Example.
But : You can call me John, but please don't call me Wright.

Yet : I didn't study last night, yet I passed the exam.

If we look carefully, even though the 'but' and 'yet' in the sentence above has almost equivalent meaning, namely but or however. But actually 'yet' has an additional meaning of surprise.
