but is for common contradiction and ΓÇÿyetΓÇÖ is for exagrated circumstances.
example, the are poor but they are happy (it is a common condition)
and for yet : mozart could play the piano very well yet he couldnt hear anything
so, the point is.. yet is used for surprising fact
